Flu vaccines are reccommended for all aduts, particularly people over 65 or under 10, Aboriginal or TSI, or with underlying health conditions

While there is a small risk of side-effects from the vaccine, these are generally self-limited and minor.

As of flu season 2026, a new nasal spray vaccine is available for children 2 to 18, and funded (free) for children aged from 2 to 11. Please book a regular appointment, and we are happy to book all children from the same family at the same time. Given the long duration of action of this vaccine, it can be booked in any time, subject to stock availability.

We currently have the over 65 flu vaccine in stock, however it is recommended to delay this until later in the season as it is effective for 6-8 weeks. If you need this early please book for an appointment. We will be running flu vaccine clinics from the 13th of April. The latest COVID vaccine will also be available during the vaccine clinic.
